HP Type 913, 972, 973, 974, 975, 976 ink jet cartridges are used in several “PageWide” printers and multifunction printers (MFPs), including the PageWide Pro 452 and 577 Printer series and PageWide Managed P55250 Printer series.
Each printer uses four ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), with ink capacity differing by color and cartridge type. There are three different ink capacity offerings – standard yield (A), high yield (X) and extra high yield (Y). Yields range from 3,000 to 17,000 pages, with availability dependent on the yield type (A, X or Y) and the geographic market in which the printers are purchased.
Each printer ships with a set of “Setup” cartridges, and all ink cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
